Nana Willis' Oven-Baked Ribs

Feeds: 4-6


Ingredients:

3-4 lbs spare ribs, cut into pieces

1 C ketchup

.3 C Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp tobasco sauce

2 Cwater

1 tsp celery seeds

Instructions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 450F.

2. Place cut up ribs in roasting pan with the meaty side up and roast for 30min.

3. Combine ketchup, worcestershire sauce, chilli powder, tobasco sauce, salt and water in a pot and bring to a boil. Pour over ribs after the initial 30min cooking time.

4. Reduce heat to 350F and continue baking for for 1-2 hours, basting every 20 min or so. Sauce will thicken as the ribs cook. Cook to internal temperature of 195F

5. 15 minutes before serving sprinkle with celery seed. As per Nana, serve with rice and lots of napkins!
